The CORO DELL'AVENTINO

belongs to the Musical Association “ROMAinCANTO”, and was founded with the aim of studying and performing masterpieces of Italian and foreign composers of sacred music, with a special predilection for the authors of the XVII and the XVIII centuries.

The Choir members, of various ages and having previous experience in a chorus, are motivated by their interest in singing in a choir, stressing its great importance within human and social relationships, which starts from the very friendship existing among the Choir’s members.

In December 2003, the Choir was invited to sing in a live program aired on Rai 3 television channel and, like every year, it carried out many concerts, including ones for charity.

The members of the Choir get together to rehearse every Tuesday and Friday from 19,00 to 20,50 on the "Scuola Badini" in the Aventino Hill in Rome, in Piazza di S. Alessio, 34.

The Choir is open to receive new members who wish to join it and to take part in it's choruses and concerts.
